About
From art to analytics, I’ve always had a knack for seeing things from a different angle—let me tell you a bit about how that shapes who I am.
Hello there — I’m Geovanna, but you can call me Geo. I’m a UX/UI Designer based in Chicago, fluent in both English and Spanish, with a little French flair from my undergrad days (because why stop at two languages?). I’ve always believed that every problem is just an opportunity dressed up in a clever disguise, which is exactly why UX/UI felt like home to me. It merges my love of design with my background in research and surveying into a career that challenges and excites me daily.
During grad school, a professor once called me a chameleon — someone who adapts effortlessly to any environment and connects naturally with all kinds of people. It’s a trait I treasure, especially in a field where empathy and flexibility are key. I find creative energy everywhere — in nature, art, music, the people I meet, and the places I explore across the globe.
After starting my career in social media analytics and research, discovering UX/UI felt like finding the missing piece. I was able to blend my graphic design skills with my research instincts, creating work that feels both beautiful and deeply thoughtful. What I love most about this path is the people — every conversation is a chance to learn something new, and every new insight brings me closer to designing products that feel intuitive, inclusive, and just plain better for everyone.
